Ooh, it's so very exciting: Mount St. Helens is erupting! And since there's been plenty of warning and it should be only a moderate eruption, very little damage is expected. Which means, I can just enjoy the thrill of a volcanic eruption.
I've always loved earth science (yeah, I know I'm a nerd), especially plate techtonics, volcanoes, and weather. The complexity and mystery of the earth's processes are soooo fascinating. The truth is, scientists know very little about why the earth does the things it does. So there's still a lot to learn.
That's really all I had to say. Back to the law school application grindstone.
